Friday Evening Kick-Off - August 17
Speakers - Russ Roca and Laura Crawford
Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center - Open Air Gym

Russ Roca and Laura Crawford are internationally recognized cyclotourists, known for their trips around the United States and, most recently, for their tour across New Zealand in 2012. Their cycling related website “The Path Less Pedaled”, chronicles their experiences since selling off most of their belongings in 2009 and “taking to the road” to see America. Roca is also a talented photographer and Crawford a skilled metalsmith and jewelry designer. Their wares and cycle related products will be available for sale during the event.

The public is invited to attend the presentation and enjoy the accompanying meal for a small fee. The evening’s presentation will focus on Roca and Crawford’s experiences as cyclists as they have toured America by bicycle. They will also feature images and tales of their trip around New Zealand.
